Celebrating Artists and Art-making Within Baja California Baja Rancho Art invites you to explore creative possibilities in the ranchos and wine country of Valle Guadalupe, our "studio of the south" for weekends of creativity, wine tasting, and relaxation. We offer art workshops in painting, drawing, ceramics, and photography at Rancho La Bellota, a 2,800 acre ranch that sits in an oak lined valley just north of Baja's scenic "Ruta del Vino" between Tecate and Ensenada, approximately 1½ hours south of the U.S.–Tecate border in Baja California, Mexico. Rancho La Bellota is a "Certified Land Managed Unit for Wildlife Conservation" (UMA) in Mexico and has been certified by the Mexican government as a destination resort for horseback riding and bird watching. As part of your stay at the ranch, Rancho La Bellota offers exciting trail rides and scenic exploration for all levels of riders, all of which are geared towards specific scenic destinations. Ride through shady oak groves, hidden water pools, quiet secluded valleys and vast mountain ranges. The Guadalupe Valley is the jewel of Baja's wine country and the scenic "Ruta del Vino" provides visitors a wide variety of attractions ranging from independent wineries to large scale producers. Valle Guadalupe's rustic setting and magical atmosphere is approximately 25 minutes from Rancho La Bellota. Baja Rancho Art offers flexible trips to explore the scenic wine country and culture of northern Baja California, an area filled with wine boutiques, art galleries, indigenous culture and nature retreats waiting for you to explore and enjoy.
