Oakland Physical Therapy specializes in orthopedic manual physical therapy, performing arts injuries, and sports injuries. We specialize in an integrated evaluation and treatment approach for performing arts and sports injuries. This approach includes manual therapy treatment combined with an individually designed therapeutic exercise program addressing deficits in posture and movement patterns that may contribute to injury. The exercise programs taught may include different exercises or movement methods as Pilates or Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® , all designed to attain and maintain optimal performance and conditioning. We also offer a fitness program to our patients to continue their exercise program at our facility after discharge from treatment.
