At Napizia, we're developing a dictionary and translator for the language of poetry, the language spoken by the people of Sicily, Calabria and Puglia.Our translator can translate sentences between Sicilian, English and Italian, but it's still in a developmental stage. We have developed the methods necessary to create a neural machine translator for the Sicilian language. Now we need to assemble some more parallel text.Our dictionary annotates the language with grammar, proverbs, poetry, prose and examples. Each poem and proverb is recorded exactly as it was written in the original source, so that each dialect of the language is recorded on the dictionary's pages.And the dictionary helped us develop our translator.
