Undergraduate Enviromental Engineering Student at Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITENAS) - Bandung, West Java, Indonesia
Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITENAS) was established in 1972 entitled as Akademi Teknologi Nasional (ATENAS) and later changed its name into ITENAS in 1984. ITENAS is a private higher educational institution that specializes in technology, art, and design and consists of three different faculties namely Faculty of Industrial Technology, Faculty of Civil and Planning Engineering, and Faculty of Architecture and Design. ITENAS offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture Indonesia for bachelor and master degrees in several areas of study.Itenas campus is located in the urban setting of the large city of Bandung (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), West Java Province. The infrastructure facility covers a total area of 54.854 m2 in which the built area occupies 45.662 m2. Officially, Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITENAS) has been accredited by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education, Indonesia. All departments have been already accredited and have complete learning facilities, sports facilities, as well as university medical center, religion, and banking facilities. Itenas has a total of 242 lecturers who graduated from both Indonesia and abroad. Itenas keeps growing and developing in order to improve its standard in both academic and non-academic which is in line with Itenas motto "Exploring Potential, Improving Achievement (Indonesian: Menggali Potensi, Membina Prestasi)." As one of the old private higher-education institution in Indonesia, Itenas has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic records and grades. The admission rate range is 20-30% making this Indonesian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
