The Kensington Neighbourhood House has been established in Kensington since 1975 to provide a space for the community and its various groups and interests to meet, share information, develop skills and break down isolation or other community barriers.The Kensington Neighbourhood House offers a range of recreational, social, educational and vocational classes as well as morning childcare. The programs cater primarily for disadvantaged people, families and older adults.
