Pakistan in general and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in particular has been facing multiple social issues and challenges. Last decade has been devastating for this area. Floods and other natural disasters added further in stability in this region.These issues have created circumstances of poverty, deprivation and multiple marginalization which create grounds for extremism in our society. This is taking us away from social, economic and religious stability in Pakistan.Our team has been involved in various fields of life directly related to these issues and challenges. We took an initiative to establish a platform from where people could contribute towards society and people.ISRD has been working remotely through its members mainly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA. Most of its work was in the form of either volunteer services or through its individual members providing services with various clients. ISRD's founders realized that it is time to unite these efforts and strive to work as a team.
