Founded in 2016, Foster Village is led by experienced foster parents, child welfare advocates, and a board made up of passionate and diverse community professionals. This first-hand experience and understanding allows us to connect directly with foster families in ways that help them feel empowered and part of a larger mission. We know how important connection and stability are, especially during those first (often uncertain and traumatic) days. We also know that there is a community of caring individuals looking for ways to serve these families and children, but are unsure of how to help. Foster Village works to create practical opportunities to bridge the gap so that caring individuals and businesses can share encouragement and resources with our neighbors in crisis.
