FAR is currently a prime contractor providing fulltime on-site GS1102 Contract Specialist support services for the Department of State, Office of Acquisition Management and the Department of Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing. FAR is also a prime contractor with the Department of Treasury, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security providing Performance Work Statement (PWS) writing and acquisition support advisory services.FAR team members are conducting procurements from receipt of the purchase request to award of the contract. FAR team members supporting the Department of State support the Local Guard Program for many of the United States Embassies and Consulates worldwide. FAR has conducted pre-proposal site visits in Bahrain, India, the UAE, France, New Zealand, Bratislava and Costa Rica. FAR team members formulate and documenting market research; make procurement strategy recommendations; conduct technical evaluations, and draft all acquisition support documents. FAR's core competency is in generating the entire solicitation document, posting FEDBIZOPPS announcements and writing any unique clauses, proposal instructions and evaluation criteria. FAR writes the evaluation criteria for award, and the source selection evaluation board (SSEB) evaluation worksheets, as well as orchestrated and facilitated the SSEB technical proposal review.
