Established in 2008.Javi's Taco Shack (formerly El Mejor Taqueria) first opened its doors in downtown Visalia in the Fall of 2008. It began with the promise of using the finest ingredients and the most exceptional service. Javi's Taco Shack expanded in December of 2011 adding a bakery featuring freshly baked Mexican pastries, breakfast menu, coffee and fresh fruit, all in a comfortable environment and official becoming Javi's Taco Shack & Bakery. Today, Javi's Taco Shack & Bakery has become one of the most popular restaurants in downtown Visalia, famous for its weekly specials, express menu and late night dining experience.
