The RAP Foundation is a charity created by the founders of The RAP Project, offering RSE & Citizenship workshops in state schools and academies. While The RAP Project is in over 250 schools, less than 15% of these are state funded. Our Board of Trustees wishes to redress this imbalance by providing RAP presentations to the schools in the state sector. Our presentations include a range of topics, including the laws defining sexual assault, peer on peer sexual harassment and consent; how social media and pornography influence attitudes, behaviours and body image; the lack of discretion practiced my many young people online and how to manage peer pressure and mental well-being. We dispel myths, misconceptions and challenge gender stereotypes. Inclusive and respectful of all individuals and their choices, we also balance religious and cultural perspectives into our delivery. Our interactive, age-appropriate talks are honest, engaging and promote our core belief: #mutualrespectmutualconsent.
