Jill&Ange (first known as JillANG) - designers Jillian & Angela Thompson, co-owners and sisters from New Zealand (Te Rarawa/Ngati Kuri). The label was launched in Sydney 1996 at Oxford St's Paddington Market with a collection of cotton print dresses. After many years living and working in Sydney, Jillian & Angela returned to New Zealand where they continue to develop and produce a unique brand of clothing.Bi-annual collections follow strong themes often with indigenous reference (such as the ongoing ‘Native Series'), historical background, a touch of irony, humour or social comment.
