JAS Risk Advisors provides advanced insurance and risk management consulting services in areas related to property and liability insurance risks our clients face. We are not an insurance brokerage, but we leverage the technical and insurance marketplace expertise developed over 20+ years working in the insurance brokerage community to our clients' advantage. Communicating with, and managing the insurance brokerage relationship is an important part of JAS's services, which frees up client personnel to focus on their core discipline, but it is only a small part of what we offer. Our typical client is a privately held company that has sophisticated insurance and risk management needs, but doesn't necessarily need or want to have a full time Risk Manager on staff. We also support larger organizations who might have full time Risk Management staff, but need help on a particular phase of their operations or a given project. In today's business environment, risk management is a complex, multi disciplined practice. The analysis of exposure, developing proper risk transfer techniques and negotiating coverge terms and pricing on insurance placements can be difficult to manage for many clients. Not only does it require a deep understanding of 1) the current legal and regulatory environment for a given industry, 2) the insurance marketplace and its various constituent players, it also requires 3) a significant amount of coordination between a client's internal expertise, often spread among various parties within an organization, it's investor and/or project partners, where applicable and all parties' respective professional service providers. JAS works on our client's behalf in all of those areas to develop robust, consistent process that protects our client's assets and those of their Investor partners.
