In 1983 BIANSA started operations, primarily dedicated to the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding for industry. Our clients were mainly big industrial companies in the Basque Country.Over the years, BIANSA has grown and diversified its activities, providing scaffolding services in thermal power plants, both conventional and combined cycle, shipyards, refineries and other. At the same time, BIANSA was able to provide scaffolding services throughout Spain, as our customers required.Nowadays, BIANSA is focusing on the installation of the structural elements that make up the solar field in a Thermosolar Powerplant (CSP) and performing all the activities of the commissioning and mechanical start-up of these plants. In these activities, Spanish companies are market leaders and are working all over the world. In fact, BIANSA has provide these services in a 160 Mw thermosolar plant in Morocco.The surveying activities, necessary for the erection and leveling of the solar field in a CSP Thermosolar plant has become part of our activity. We have a surveying team with long experience that has worked with us in the last six years.In order to give the best service to our clients we operate in Spain and some other countries. Abroad, we are located in Ouarzazate (Morocco) and Kathu and Upington (South Africa).BIANSA's Technical Department is responsible for the design of structures and systems we provide. They also control working teams in both the scaffolding, ship's general services and installing activities of solar fields.BIANSA has a workforce of around 120 professionals highly specialized in our different activities. BIANSA owns 800 tons of scaffolding material and has rental agreements with two of the main manufacturers of scaffolding material in order to have access to more material if necessary.BIANSA also owns all the instruments, equipment, tools and machinery required to perform the activities of the commissioning and start-up of CSP powerplants.
