McGill Engineers in Action is the first student Chapter within the larger organization of Engineers in Action, to be created in Quebec. We share the vision of a world free of rural isolation, based on the sustainable growth and empowerment of impoverished communities. Our Chapter's mission is to take action to improve the living conditions of deprived people and raise global awareness among students. We are committed to accomplishing this mission by connecting students and communities through collaborative bridge building.We, therefore, strive to empower today's university students to becometomorrow's global leaders by embarking on a new bridge project every year with the support of underserved communities. Our primary purpose is to provide these isolated communities with year-round safe access to essential health care, education, and economic opportunities and services.
