Founded by Entrepreneur Derek Feldman, Uchū Hospitality is a New York City restaurant group that owns umbrella concepts Don Wagyu, Sushi on Jones and Michelin starred restaurant Uchū, consisting of sister concepts Bar Uchū and Ichimura at Uchū. Each restaurant in the group embodies their own take on Japanese cuisine, and all transport individuals away from New York City and toward a cultural oasis, through detail-oriented, personalized service and elevated food and beverage programming. Inspired by his travels abroad, Feldman strives to curate all- encompassing experiences for guests by sharing his distinct understanding of hospitality. "Food is such a powerful gateway to experience and it allows you to break through cultural barriers. I wanted to be a part of that," he says.
