A new route from the North West to London will launch in 2020. Grand Central's first route was launched in December 2007 and links London Kings Cross with York, Thirsk, Northallerton, Eaglescliffe, Hartlepool and Sunderland. In 2010, a second service began, calling at Bradford, Low Moor Halifax, Brighouse, Mirfield, Wakefield, Pontefract, Doncaster and London Kings Cross. In 2020, Grand Central will launch a new route from Blackpool, calling at Poulton Le Fylde, Kirkham and Wesham, Preston, Nuneaton, Milton Keynes and London Euston.
