Coordinadora de Plataforma de Biologia Molecular at INDEAR - Rosario, Santa Fe Province, Argentina
INDEAR is Bioceres' research and development company. Born from an alliance between Bioceres and CONICET, INDEAR has the most advanced research platforms in agro-biotechnology in Latin America, which includes the first high-performance DNA sequencing platform available in Argentina. INDEAR houses in its laboratories highly qualified research groups in the areas of bioinformatics, molecular biology, synthetic biology and the study of proteins. The institute's R&D areas are consolidated with a platform for tissue culture and plant transformation, and with a multidisciplinary group for the development of technologies in the field. INDEAR concentrates its research efforts on technologies designed to increase crop productivity, including tolerance to drought and salinity, resistance to pests and herbicides, efficient use of nutrients, and plant health. With international human resources, INDEAR is research and development from the scientific hypothesis to field testing of the solutions developed.
