We are consecrated women religious, striving to serve our world in the spirit of Jesus. We respond to God's call as members of an international congregation, serving the Church on six continents in 18 countries! Living in the footsteps of our foundress, Sr. Maria Aloysia Wolbring, we strive for excellence in all forms of Christian education with special focus on those who are poor and marginalized. We meet the intellectual and spiritual needs of children and adults at all age levels in many parishes and in health care and social service agencies in 10 different states, and in Rome, Italy; Papua New Guinea and Nicaragua.Our sisters share with others what is deepest within our being: our experience of God's goodness and provident care—the charism of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Toledo Province sisters range in age from 32 years old to 97 years old, living the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience, allowing us to live our mission wholeheartedly.
