It is the Mission of INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIANS ASSOCIATES to provide comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to all of our patients. With 25 years of medical practice experience, our clinic intends to diagnose and treat any and all diseases defined by the American College of Physicians, using best practices outlined in the evolving body of medical literature. We are proud to embrace the most up to date novel approaches to disease states, using technology and biomedical science breakthroughs, including the newest findings of the genomic project that apply to clinical medicine.According to the National Academy of Science, roughly 66% of medical illnesses stem from an imbalance in a patient's psychosocial circumstances. Given that, many of our clinical encounters identify psychological and psychiatric disorders at the root of physical signs and symptoms. Our scope of practice addresses the diagnosis and management of a full spectrum of psychiatric illnesses that may occur simultaneously with and related to physical illnesses. Using a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and psychiatric subspecialty consultants, we seek to collaborate and cooperate with other multi-disciplinary practitioners (including alternative medicine) in order to render a continuum of care that meets and exceeds the standard of care defined by the Arizona Board of Medicine.Finally, our mission seeks to be mindful of the unique transcendent values of each individual patient as he/she has come to believe about the human condition. This includes the terms of living, suffering, and dying. We are committed to excellence in the complete care of individual patients and their unique journey through illness.
