4 Chakras has developed a Capacitation Programme to enable NGO's to navigate through the myriad of new demands through effective structuring, capacitation, systems and processes and tools. The programme also creates different leadership and operations mindsets to prepare leaders of these organisations for the new landscape and challenges that they face. An interesting development in the sector over the past few years is that funders are looking at different ways of ensuring that their funding of organisations creates some sort of longer term stability (service delivery and organisation). Often, funders make large investments only to find that once the funded programme comes to an end, the organisations are unable to survive. Many funders are now looking to/providing capacity building interventions to ensure that basic building blocks are in place for sustainability.
