The Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (MSSES) was founded in 1995 by the famous sociologist, peasant researcher, by the University of Manchester professor - Theodore Shanin.There are 9 faculties in which 35 educational programmes of undergraduate, graduate and professional training are implemented. The MSSES is the only University in Russia whose programmes are created in partnership with the University of Manchester (UK) and the Coventry University (UK).The MSSES's programmes are taught by famous scientists and practitioners, including those from the Russian Academy of Sciences, large consulting firms, federal and regional governments, and leading foreign universities - Oxford, London, Manchester, Warrick, Vancouver and several others.Every year MSSES conducts 8 international scientific conferences and summits that gather hundreds of participants from all regions of Russia and foreign countries.Among the graduates of the MSSES are current and former deputy federal ministers, regional ministers and their deputies, deputy governors of several Russian regions, employees of major international organizations, professors of the prestigious universities, heads of cultural organizations. 6th ranking place in terms of the quality of applicants.2nd place in the rating of demand for Russian universities in the field of management.3rd place in the top 10 Russian universities for graduates income.
