Hi there, my name is Parisa and here my little workshop wish big dreams…I opened my workshop not only to reach my goals and grow as a de- signer, but to gain experience in managing the processes which lead to innovative design alongside providing the quality solution that our future needs also make my mark on the global design industry. I work mainly with wood in combination with painting, as wood allows me to be more creative and painting it is my signature. My passion is to reach a solution that will change our lives for the bet- ter by attaining a sustainable and eco-friendly design using recycled materials. Wood could be considered as an eco-friendly material if more focus is placed on the recycling and renewability aspects of its products. In my workshop, to avoid wasting wood, I started my busi- ness on the basis of recycling and reusing this valuable source. In my designs, I use reclaimed wood as well as parts of wooden furniture which are no longer used. Therefore, it is a great step toward my aim to reach a durable design. The name of my workshop may be a bit confusing, but it has a pro- found and funny story behind it. Five feet is an imaginary octopus who is missing three feet; each of his five feet represent one of his strengths and the missing three represent his fears. This octopus doesn't know if the world is a safe place for him and panics some- times, but he is creative with big ambitions and tries hard to make his environment a better place to live. While I have chosen to call him Five feet, his real name is Khosrow, which means King in Persian.
