Dollon's Food Products Private Limited has for over a decade been successfully engaged in India's rapidly growing dairy business. From its modest beginning in Hooghly, West Bengal, with an installed milk processing and packing capacity of 30,000 litres per day, it has over the years rapidly grown to a daily volume of 3,00,000 litres of milk per day. By way of value addition, the company also produces 10,000 litres of yogurt daily. With its state-of-the-art technology, Dollon's has grown both in market share and profitability.Success has brought its own recognition by way of ISO 22000:2005, ISO 9001:2008, Codex GMP and HACCP Codex Certificates. It is quite evident that in the eco-friendly business of dairy farming Dollon's has marked a significant presence primarily being engaged in the procurement, processing, and marketing of pasteurized milk.Milk production in India is annually growing at 7% by volume and approximately 10% by value. Milk amounts to 21% of India's agricultural production and this is projected to increase manifold.Dollon's Food Products is the brainchild of Mr.Aditya Sikdar, an eminent Charted Accountant by training and an entrepreneur by profession. It is entirely due to Mr.Sikdar's pioneering zeal, earnestness, and dedication in the face of overwhelming odds, that the company today provides employment to 400 personnel and is thesource of livelihood to thousands of local farmers who regularly supply milk to the dairy unit by way of milk farmer's co-operatives. Under their able leadership, Dollon's has also earned an award for most efficient plant operation.Spurred on by this success, We have already reached 4 lakhs liters/day delivery. It has already undertaken further implementation of its expansion project so as to build up milk and dahi processing and packing capacity of 6 lakhs liters/day within its existing premises.
