Founded in 1921, the Islamic Charity Association (Homs, Syria) focused their attention on the orphan's care in the internal Islamic Orphanage Center.The Islamic Charity Association contributed to the community service in the city of Homs with a number of developmental projects ( Zanubia Hall for conferences and festivals, Charity kitchen and Typical Charitable Schools ), and as a result of the crisis that occurred in the city of Homs in 2012, the association launched AOUN for relief and development to serve displaced people in the city from affected areas through relief and development projects in partnership with United Nations organizations (UNICEF – WFP – UNHCR – WHO - UNFPA – IOM – UNDP - UN-HABITAT ) in Relief , Education, Psychological support, Social care, Medical care, Engineering work (Apartments Rehabilitation and Water and sanitation), Adolescents Development and participation and Women empowerment.الجمعية الخيرية الإسلامية ( سوريا – حمص ) , تأسست في عام 1921م وركزت اهتمامها على رعاية الأيتام في الميتم الداخلي , ساهمت في خدمة المجتمع في مدينة حمص بالعديد من المشاريع التنموية ( المدارس الخيرية النموذجية وقاعة زنوبيا للمؤتمرات والاحتفالات والمطبخ الخيري ), ونتيجة الأزمة التي طرأت على مدينة حمص في 2012 أطلقت الجمعية مشروع عَــون للإغاثة والتنمية لخدمة النازحين في المدينة من المناطق المتضررة من خلال المشاريع الإغائية والتنموية بالشراكة مع منظمات الأمم المتحدة(UNICEF – WFP – UNHCR – WHO - UNFPA – IOM – UNDP - UN-HABITAT )تتعلق بـ ( الإغاثة - التعليم – الدعم النفسي – الرعاية الاجتماعية – الرعاية الطبية – أعمال ( هندسية "تأهيل شقق_المياه والإصحاح" – نماء ومشاركة اليافعين – تمكين المرأة )
