Indocor is an association of all corrosion experts in Indonesia which was formed in 1967. The establishment of this organization was based on the emergence of corrosion problems in the Indonesian industrial sector where the cost of controlling a country's corrosion ranges from 2-5% of GNP. Therefore, on January 19, 1973, a corrosion professional organization called INDOCOR was formed, which stands for the Indonesian Corrosion Association.
