KMHC is located about 25 miles from Traverse City. It is owned by Kalkaska County's 12 townships and is supported in part by a tax levy that provides funding for capital improvements and projects. KMHC has served residents and visitors since 1953. It is also part of the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Network.
