Tribune Media Group, LLC, ("TMG") is a Virginia Limited Liability Corporation founded to publish and operate The Loudoun Tribune ("The Tribune") and other community based publications. The Tribune is a non-subscription 64+ page weekly printed newspaper, mailed to nearly every residential addresses in Loudoun County, with an accompanying daily news website. News content is fact based, forward looking, apolitical, fair and balanced with niches. TMG is a for profit business. Profits are generated through the sale of advertising space in the print and online publications as well as collateral material. The Tribune, as most non-subscription newspapers, will be an advertising vehicle in the form of a newspaper, operating with a balance of content that is approximately 60% advertising and 40% editorial. Structurally, instead of being a core group of journalists who use a secondary staff to sell advertising and support overhead, the business model and core competency will be to have a team that generates advertising revenue while separately employing skilled local management and journalists to produce the publications and enhance their reputation. The problems resolved are one, finally having a true countywide newspaper. Two, providing a true countywide outlet for a tremendously vast and growing market of retail, service and professional businesses.
