Kittyhawk Inc, a Hot Isostatic Processing (HIP) company, is a small business founded in 1981 by Lois, G.J., and Charles Barré to provide service to the casting industry. The company operation began with a National Forge HIP unit that has a working zone of 18" x 60". Then in 1986, Kittyhawk Products recognized the need for a larger furnace. A 40" x 60" vessel was commissioned and brought on line. In 1995, Kittyhawk Products outgrew its facility and purchased its present location in Garden Grove, CA, doubling their square footage. This move also allowed Kittyhawk Products to upgrade to state of the art controls providing even better quality and service. In 1999, we brought on line a larger, third unit with a 46" x 80" capacity tripling our total HIP capacity. As technology improves, Kittyhawk Products, strives to be at the forefront. Again, in 2005 we upgraded to a more advanced and efficient control system. In 2013, Kittyhawk Products felt the need for a larger unit still. Late that year, construction began on fourth unit with 46" x 100" capacity, which again meant a more advanced and more efficient operating system. This unit was finished mid-2015, and has since helped accommodate the growth in aerospace and other industries.Today, Kittyhawk Products is committed to serving all of its customers. The goal of Kittyhawk Products is, and will continue to be, a quality company that gives personalized service to our customers. We are committed to saving time and lowering costs for our customers.
