Authentic, active empathy is the core of my practice. What does that mean? I listen and ask questions from a place of deep and sincere interest in your experience as a unique and precious human being. You are my partner in the therapy process – together we will identity your counseling objectives and create a plan that keeps us on track to address your specific concerns. My own goal is to deliver results in the shortest time possible while being patient, gentle and thorough. I believe all people have strengths and vulnerabilities and my job is to build on your strengths and share effective ways to deal with thoughts, feelings, behaviors and situations that stand in the way of living the most fulfilling life possible. If appropriate, we may delve into the past to explore memories, traumas or unhealthy patterns of behavior, but my primary focus is on the here and now, and finding practical solutions that improve your life today.
