Nexus Energy Center is building smart energy communities throughout the state of Alabama. We do this by administering energy programs for education, conservation, efficiency and renewable generation. Nexus' programs stimulate and promote local Alabama businesses by creating opportunities to bring energy market transformation. Nexus has gained tremendous experience in the energy efficiency arena through our highly successful AlabamaWISE (Worthwhile Investments Save Energy), an energy efficiency program focused on homeowners in Alabama. These home upgrades not only lower utility costs, but also improve health and quality of life for the resident and their families.
