FRLAN+JANSEN architetti is an architectural firm based in Turin, Italy, founded in 2002 by Vanja Frlan and Maarten Jansen.It was awarded an Honourable Mention at the Gold Medal for Italian Architecture, Triennale di Milano (2003). Over the years the firm received various prizes and publications for its projects. Among those, the second prize for the new train station of Porta Susa, Turin, as co-designer (2001); the selection at the Mies van der Rohe Awards, Barcelona (2003) and the first prize for the refurbishment of the historic market hall in Falconara Marittima, Ancona (2006).FRLAN+JANSEN Architetti has been invited to various competitions including a project of about 30.000 sqm, the competition for Lavazza's new headquarters in Turin (2010) and the competition for Reale Mutua Assicurazioni's headquarters in Turin (2013).Lately, FRLAN+JANSEN Architetti has been working in the ultra-low-cost and in the luxury markets, in Italy, Croatia, Morocco, Iran, Qatar, and the Netherlands.
