Send a Cow is a force for change in rural Africa. Farmers in rural Africa face huge challenges right now. Poverty, the climate crisis and loss of soil fertility are threatening livelihoods, but at Send a Cow we know that where there's land, there's hope. We don't ask communities what they need – we ask what they've got. Then, through training in farming, and by tackling social issues such as gender inequality, we enable communities in Africa to acquire both the hope and the skills to lift themselves out of poverty. Send a Cow currently works in six African countries: Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia. Our operations are carbon positive. Send a Cow is a charity registered in England and Wales (299717) and in Scotland (SC049792)
