1 Ohana Charities is a non-profit organization founded in 2021. Our mission is for every young adult that ages out of the Foster Care System to have the support and resources to live a healthy and thriving life.Every year, over 23,000 teenagers age out of the Foster Care system in the United States. At 18, they have no home, no job, and often no adult support. The statistics for these young adults are dire, and they often fall prey to their socioeconomic circumstances. 1 Ohana Charities believes that these individuals should not be forgotten or left without hope, services, or support. We have the ability to reverse the current trends and help these young adults develop into healthy and thriving individuals. Through support services, mentorship, job placement, and financial assistance, we can provide a stable foundation that will enable this forgotten population to feel cared for, achieve their goals, and attain a positive future.
