This platform is sponsored by global leading organizations that together evaluate and rank startups on an annual basis worldwide known as the "100 Open Startups". 100 Open Startups Program: 100 Open Startups program that is currently in the 10th year was Founded by 40 large Corporations like 3M, Abbot, Intel, IBM, HP, J&J, Shell, Sanofi, Panasonic, Furukawa, Roche, Siemens, Whirlpool among others in collaboration with Haas School of Business, Berkeley and Darden Business School, Virginia and is executed by team of entrepreneurs who successfully exited their startups to large corporations. Today, we have 3500 plus corporations and SMEs that jointly formulate Grand Challenges in 23 verticals like Innovative Cities, Healthcare & Well being, Agriculture, Pharma, Energy, Food, and Sports to name some of them. The Startups that apply against these Grand Challenges are then evaluated by the Executives of these same large corporations that created them. In the process, the Startups gets feedback and suggestions to improve their Value proposition making them more valuable than before they applied into our program. This effectuation process strengthens the startup and contributes to sustainability of the Startup ecosystem. The goal of the 100 Open Startups program is to rank them from 1 to 100 making them the most valuable in a country or region as perceived by the market. The ranking methodology of these startups is based on the parameters like the type engagement they build with large corporations that evaluated them and on the level of investments from Angels, VCs and Corporate venture funds making it an unique global ecosystem for Startups.
