The idea is to bring together 100 women in our community who have limited time but want make a meaningful impact on non-profits in our county!The structure of this group is very simple with a minimal time commitment. Here's how it works:• 100+ women meet once a quarter, for 1 hour, in the Walnut Creek/Lafayette area (a 4 hour commitment per year).• At each meeting, a few randomly selected members will have the opportunity to present information on one local charity/non-profit.• Everyone in attendance will vote on one charity/non-profit to collectively support each quarter.• Each member will then write a check directly to the charity for $100 (a $400 commitment per year). Every single dollar goes directly to the cause we choose to support, with absolutely no overhead or administration fees. This means together we will be putting $40,000+/year back into our community. There is strength in numbers!
