The 11Eleven Project is an organisation that is focused on using the arts to contribute to global good. At its heart, the organisation is focused on empowering and educating individuals to become positive pro-active global citizens. The 11Eleven Project aims to be the answer to " I am just one person what can I do?" We believe human beings are very powerful and capable of greatness. When individuals, clear in their convictions, come together to achieve positive outcomes – wonderful results can be achieved. We do not see "11" as eleven…we see it as two "1's" coming together. When individuals come together, they are more powerful than acting on their own. Our philosophy is 1 + 1 = 11. So, how does one strengthen the individual? Our objective is first to reveal that "every person can and does make a difference". We will prove this through our first major work entitled the "11Eleven Project". This unique multi-platform project asks contributors all around the world to add their story to the global narrative, to show their unique slice of the world and to share their perspectives. The 11Eleven Project will then weave together the individual story threads to reveal a much larger tapestry – a world picture created by a collective humanity. This project will form the foundation – a network of people all around the world, interested in playing their part to work together for something bigger than themselves.
