1308 Productions is an independent non-profit organization devoted to public service and music education in South Florida and beyond. It is a Novack family-run initiative that appreciates and recognizes music educators and young musicians who enrich lives and create smiles with the universal language. With noticeable withdrawals of support for programs in music and the arts, mainly in public schools, 1308 Productions advocates for the continuation, reinstallation and expansion of free-of-charge, public education opportunities in the performing arts. 1308 Productions honors musically-talented students of Miami-Dade Public Schools with scholarship awards at student graduation ceremonies. Additionally, the organization showcases new and emerging local artists and bands at community concert events, as well as facilitates instrument donation and delivery drives that resource music lesson programs.
