The 1st Battalion of Commando Actions (1st BAC) is an elite unit of the Brazilian Army, with strategic mobility and capable of planning, conducting and executing commando actions, which are military operations normally characterized as long-range incursions against high-value enemy targets and developed in hostile areas or under enemy control. 1st BAC operations are characterized by secrecy, shock power and a high degree of risk.The Battalion is part of the Special Operations Command, a large special unit under the Planalto Military Command and located in the city of Goiânia, Goiás.
