In the last decade, integral consciousness has emerged on the European continent on a large scale and has produced unique characteristics and diverse cultural articulations. A new structure of consciousness is expressing itself in a wide variety of domains - ranging from psychology, spirituality, economy, ecology, sustainability to leadership, politics, education, business, community building and beyond. This community has been waiting to meet each other. The time is ready to give birth to a European identity of the integral community, which also empowers Europeans to play their part in the larger global movement.In this spirit in the 1st Integral European Conference 2014 from the 8th to the 11th of May we gather to witness, celebrate and express "The Emergence of Integral Consciousness in Europe". An estimated number of 500 people from approximately 20+ countries all across Europe and overseas guests will meet in the beautiful city of Budapest, capitol of Hungary. The country is located in the geographical center of Europe where East and West meet and cultures integrate.We are calling you to come, show up and be part of this rare experience! Share your insights, activity, research and your heart with us! We will use formats that allow plenty of heart and mind exchange, ranging from scientific discussion through short spotlight-presentations to deeper transformative group and community processes. We say goodbye to solely intellectual conferences. We will experiment with a more integral format where science, transformation and the we-space meet. It is a knowledgeable, playful and communal marriage of sense and soul. Nothing compares to the real encounter, smiles, handshakes and hugs that make life worth living.
