What do we do? We train High Performance Athletes Cognitive, Mental and Motor Skills. Some specific skills are: Perceptual and Motor Skills: Concentration, Focus, Divide and Visual Attention, Short & Long Term Memory, Decision Making, Visual Reaction Time, Peripheral Vision, Tracking, Depth Perception and Visualization. Stress: Stress Management Physical Skills: Hand-Eye Coordination, Body-Eye Coordination, Foot-Eye Coordination, Balance and Agility. How we do it? We work with what is called the Brain's Neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity is the brain's capacity to re-adapt itself by processing the same information or task in a different way. This is achieved by creating new neurons and new pathways between them. Physical and Mental Training are two main ways to generate new neurons and pathways. 1st Place Institute works with a scientific method perfected by Dr. Sandra Rossi which, through a series of Mental and Physical training, take advantage of our brain's neuroplasticity and train it to respond faster and better, and to work in higher coordination with the body.
