2-LA is a Southern California based product design team which specializes in creating exemplary and products and experiences in a plethora of industries. The team's creative sensibilities are informed by their diverse cultural backgrounds, spanning East to West.Founded by the top talent of Xiaoxi Shi and Matt Maatta, 2-LA is persistently creating a marked success for a wide range of industries by designing iconic and brand defining experiences that manifest in products which build valuable and emotional bonds with users.Our creative force is fueled by the rich cultural landscape of Southern California, iconic designers such as Charles and Ray Eames, the diverse music and film scene, and architecture. Southern California is the place of inspiration for leading car brands, extreme sports, pop-culture icons, and lifestyle labels followed by the latest wave of technology innovators which introduce new and redefining experiences and business models such as Oculus Rift, Beats by Dre, Sonos, Tesla, Tom's, and the Art Center of Design in Pasadena.
