2 Minute Mates is a social movement designed to get young blokes talking about their feelings, asking for help and checking in on their mates...all simple and easy tasks that we seem to be overlooking in our society.Rather then being labelled as a mental health discussion, this campaign aims to create action from the assistant rather than the subject. This means young blokes will be encouraged to start the conversation and encourage their mates to talk up, rather than waiting for them to ask for help; a proactive, not reactive approach.To get involved, you simple need to label yourself as a 2 minute mate to those close to you; someone that will always give 2 minutes of their time to be good mate, whenever you need it and whatever you need it for. Once you've labelled yourself a ‘mate', let people know, encourage them to get involved and spread the message that things are always better when you talk about them.
