A Games Like No Other.Second only in scale to the Olympics, these Games are the highlight of a life of competition in most of the world. Now they are coming to America, and to the only town in North America that has played host to two Olympic Winter Games. In ice hockey, alpine skiing, snowboarding, freestyle (big air, slopestyle, cross), curling, figure skating, speedskating and short track speedskating, cross country, biathlon, ski jumping and nordic combined. The best in the world will compete on snow and ice that have seen epic encounters and on an Olympic mountain with one of the highest verticals in the nation. For eleven days, they will gather in New York's Adirondack Mountains and the Olympic Alpine Village of Lake Placid to celebrate, compete, and enjoy a winter festival experience surrounded by the welcoming mountain towns and majesty of the Adirondacks. Most of all they will celebrate and show what can happen when the young people of the world join together across nations in common purpose.
