2040 Multimedia (2040MM) uses arts as a platform to deliver messages that empower women and youth in NYC's urban communities. Founded by international indie hip-hop artist/poet, activist, author, mother and entrepreneur Apani Smith p/k/a Apani BFly Emcee, 2040MM is committed to using the power of entertainment to inspire creativity and share ideas which improve the community thru the arts. 2040MM is based in Queens, NY and specializes in using social media, and community networking to draw audiences to our events & projects. Our agenda is to promote the cause of positive social change. Some of the types of events we organize include concerts, parties, film screenings, comedian and artist showcases, networking mixers and vendor markets. We seek to empower and inspire creative ideas and impart useful information using entertainment as a platform.
