The 25-hour Dominique Perret Gstaad freeride event has become a must for any ski/snowbard enthusiast. After being recognized in 2000 as the best freerider in the world, Dominique Perret founded the 25-hour freeride event in Gstaad. Taking advantage of the skier's aura, the project has been a great success year after year.In support of a specific humanitarian cause, Swiss skiers and snowboarders are joining forces to ski as part of a team of four torchbearers. Sponsors, selected by the teams, offer a certain amount per kilometre travelled. The last of the twenty-five hours is called "L'Heure de cœur" since the four riders of each team will be able to ride together and thus quadruple their kilometers during this hour. The money raised during this day and night of skiing will be entirely donated to the foundation supported by the 25 hours of freeride Dominique Perret Gstaad.
