3 "A" Bereavement Foundation (3ABF) is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to provide comprehensive bereavement support services to economically disadvantaged families. We want to eliminate the feelings of despair and hopelessness experienced by bereaved families; We want to provide hope and healing to their surviving loved ones for the future. 3ABF assists and accompanies bereaved families through the often unfamiliar and difficult process of making funeral arrangements for a love one. Most of the families served by 3ABF are classified as the working poor. These are hard working individuals and families trapped in terrible circumstances. Comprehensive bereavement services, including funeral/burial arrangements, financial assistance (to the deceased, who lived in Fort Bend County and Harris County) and bereavement counseling, are freely rendered without regard to ethnic, religious or cultural background to low-income and working poor families that lack the financial means for a funeral service.
