Joseph Pearce and wife Emma, lived in Melbourne in the 1860's when they purchased a property sight unseen on the northern border of Victoria. They packed all their possessions along with their young child and travelled the 300 kilometres North-East via bullock dray without roads or guide. They became some of the earliest settlers in the Indigo district on the northern Victoria border. Their qualities of perseverance, foresight and bravery guide the way we work today.
