Less than 25% of these people ever discussed this problem with their doctor. Together the three of us founded 3700 Industries and we created the Pill Popper after winning first place in the Penn Health Tech Rothberg Catalyzer.Studies show that increased water pressure can increase the swallowing of medication by 60%. Even more, forward head tilt while swallowing medication leads to a 90% improvement.Pill Popper was designed with this in mind. Water sucked through a straw greatly increases water pressure over traditional methods. Second, the straw is designed to be straight, not bent, to encourage forward head tilt to ease swallowing.
