The 378th FEST-M (Forward Engineer Support Team - Main) is a premier U.S. Army Reserve technical engineer unit. Our Soldiers support the joint warfighter and interagency partners with professional technical engineering capability ranging from scope & design development through project completion and contract closeout. We bring relevant and diverse civilian acquired skills, experience and education to bear as part of the team charged with fighting and winning our nation's wars.Our uniqueness is our strength. Our units are manned by professional engineers (PE) and other STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) disciplines and are designed to bring U.S. Army Corps of Engineer technical capability to any contingency world-wide. We are comprised of the 33-member FEST-M located in Darien, IL, and 10 eight-member subordinate FEST-A units (Forward Engineer Support Team - Advance) located throughout the 416th Theater Engineer Command (TEC) footprint ranging from Ohio in the east to California in the west.
