At 4 Birds Studios Our mission is to create mobile apps, with 25% of all profits going to the American Heart Association to help raise awareness for Cardio Vascular Diseases.The founder and CEO of 4 Birds Studios, Drew Weaver, underwent a routine aorta and aortic valve replacement in 2012. During the surgery, he had a massive heart attack, destroying his heart at which time he was put on the Total Artificial Heart until he was strong enough to be listed for a heart transplant. On January 11, 2013, his family was notified that a donor heart was available. He received his new heart on 01/12/2013 an is currently doing very well. During his time in the hospital, his daughter spent her 2nd Christmas with Daddy attached to all kinds of cords, tubes, and pressurized contraptions. Something children should not have to deal with. After being released from the hospital, Drew's wife completed her B.A. in English and went on complete her Master's in Health Care Administration. A degree she chose to pursue after everything their family had experienced. In September 2016, they welcomed their second child, a son who was born with the same congenital heart defect as his dad. This is why 4 Birds Studios was created, to educate parents and children about potential Heart Diseases that can be monitored if you know what to ask your doctor.
